TOPIC : Numerous works are being carried out by the IMO, IHO, the European Commission, space agencies on the use of ICT for enhancing the quality and security of maritime transportation, and more generally maritime activities. Thanks to a continuous optimization of digital charts, telecommunication systems and surveillance/observation networks, th “e-navigation” and “e-maritime” concepts become realities, contributing to noticeable reduction of risks, of energy consumption, as well as to optimize the management of fleets, roads, cargos.
The workshop aims at inducing exchanges on last advances in the field and on possible cooperation axis.
