TOPIC : "GEOspatial Semantics (GEOS) is an emerging research area in the domain of geographic information systems and spatial databases. The fourth edition aims at providing a forum for the exchange of state-of-the-art research results in the areas of geospatial semantics modeling and processing. It has been largely recognized that Geospatial semantics play an important role for the development of next-generation spatial databases and geographic information systems, as well as specialized geospatial web services. The previous editions of the conference – GeoS 2005, GeoS 2007, and GeoS 2009 - have been organized in Mexico City, Mexico."
